Cookies
The short version: at launch we use the minimum cookies needed to keep the site working. No tracking. No advertising. If that changes, we'll say so.
1. What's a cookie
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Sites use cookies to remember things between page loads — whether you're logged in, what was in your form, that kind of thing.
2. What we use today
At pre-launch the public site uses essential cookies only: enough to handle the waitlist form submission and remember when a session begins. No third-party trackers, no analytics, no advertising pixels.
3. What we don't use
We don't run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or fingerprinting libraries on the public site. If you don't see a cookie banner, that's why.
4. What changes after launch
Once accounts and pool participation are live, we'll add cookies for authentication (so you stay logged in), session security (so an attacker can't hijack your account), and possibly a small amount of product analytics to understand which pools fill and which don't. If we add tracking that requires consent under your jurisdiction's rules (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), a cookie banner will appear and you'll be able to opt out.
5. How to manage cookies in your browser
Every modern browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies on a per-site basis. Look for "Site settings" or "Privacy and security" in your browser preferences. Blocking essential cookies on STAKELANE will prevent the waitlist form and (later) login from working.
6. Changes to this policy
If our cookie use changes, we'll update this page and the last-updated date above. Material changes will be surfaced on the site.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies: reach us through the waitlist form. Direct channels will be published before launch.
